Character Community Associates

The Character Community Council of York Region is pleased to recognize individuals who are committed to making York Region a character community.

In recognition of their efforts and dedication, these individuals have been invited to be Associates of the Character Council.

Character Council Associates present the character message through a variety of venues and to a variety of organizations, including community, business, and education.

Associate Criteria:

• Associate programs and material must align with the vision and objectives of the Character Foundation of York Region.
• Principal associate must have appropriate qualifications and / or experience in the area in which they are practicing.
• The associate must make a presentation to the Foundation or one of its committees and invite a member to attend a regular session for the purpose of evaluation.
• The successful associate must be willing to provide a minimum of 10 volunteer hours in support of the work of the Character Foundation of York Region. This could be through a workshop, material development or committee work.
• Associates must be members of the Character in Business.
• The Associate's program will be reviewed annually.
